Who is responsible

This is the personal website of Ludovico Iovino (GSSI, Viale Rendina, L'Aquila, Italy), who is the data controller for it. Contact: ludo [at] ludovicoiovino.it.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc. When you visit a page, GitHub receives technical data that every web request carries, such as your IP address and browser type, and may keep it in server logs for security and to deliver the site. GitHub processes this data under its own privacy statement, which also describes the safeguards for transfers outside the EU. I do not have access to these logs.

Cookies and local storage

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. If you click the theme button, your light/dark choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device, and you can delete it by clearing the site data in your browser.

Contacting me

If you write to me by email or phone, I use your message and contact details only to reply, and I keep them only as long as needed for that conversation.

Links to other sites

Links to publishers, DOI pages, Google Scholar, ORCID, GitHub, LinkedIn and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict its processing, by writing to the address above. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
